Updated: Oct 16, 2024

While there is no shortage of cafes in Barcelona, finding one that ticks all the boxes for a comfortable and productive workday can be a little tricky. Many places provide wi-fi and allow laptops to be used (sometimes only in parts of the cafe), but they might not be ideal for working for more than an hour or two at a time. In this list of the best cafes to work in Barcelona, we’ve chosen our favourite cafes for remote working based on the following criteria: fast and stable wifi, easy access to power outlets, tasty and affordable lunch and snack options, and good specialty coffee. These places are super laptop-friendly or even tailored towards remote workers so you’ll feel comfortable to stay and work as long as you need to.
